The only thing that would have completed this documentary would have been a short reference to the dangers of peak oil on our food sector. There was a microscopic reference to the population explosion when we found cheap fossil fuels, but it was so quick in passing I’m sure the average Aussie missed it.
Otherwise, everything else got a good mention. The impossibility of solving global warming with increasing population, water, soil, desertification, suburban sprawl, everything else was covered quite well in the time available. There was little ‘fat’ to cut in this documentary, as it skipped along quite fast. So with 1 point deducted for missing peak oil, I’m still giving this 9/10!
