IFR FaD context – the need for U.S. implementation of the IFR « BraveNewClimate

This is the main reason for my ongoing ‘caution’ regarding nuclear power. I’m glad Barry published this honest comment from an expert on the IFR. However, I’d rather more expensive power than some of the climate disaster and energy descent and collapse scenarios that I’ve outlined in the ‘Oil crisis’ pages to the right.

– Nobody knows yet how much IFR plants would cost to build and operate. Without the commercial-scale demo of the IFR, along with rationalization of the licensing process, any claims about costs are simply hand-waving guesses.
