Soil carbon without biochar

How much carbon can we store in soil? – Late Night Live – 4 February 2010.

Dr Christine Jones
Groundcover and soils ecologist; founder of the Australian Soil Carbon Accreditation Scheme.

She says we can dramatically increase soil carbon far cheaper than biochar by changing soil fertiliser requirements. She makes the point that we can store ALL our Co2 emissions in the soil simply by changing land use practices, and having multiple business products from the one bit of land, rather than just restricting it to mono-cropping.
