IS BIODIVERSITY LOSS MORE URGENT THAN CLIMATE CHANGE?
Politicians, bureaucrats and corporate decision makers need to listen ……. or humans face a bleak future. The irreversibility of biodiversity depletion and extinction is the most serious challenge facing society today and it’s happening everywhere – even near you.

September is Biodiversity Month and You are invited to an upcoming Biodiversity Conference –
“It’s More Urgent than YOU Think!”

20-21st September at the Turramurra Masonic Hall.
The Conference will open on Saturday 20 September with the documentary “Strange Days on Planet Earth”.

The main session will occur on Sunday 21 September starting at 9.30 am.

Biodiversity is the variety of Life in the form of genes, species, populations and ecosystems found on Earth – on land, fresh water and in the oceans. Human actions have degraded the variety of these natural resources to the point where the planet is experiencing a sixth mass extinction event. Once gone there is no return.

Speakers include Dr Jack Mundey [famous for the Green Bans], Lee Rhiannon [Greens MP], Professor Andy Beattie [internationally recognised ecologist], Professor Stuart Hill [Foundation Chair of Social Ecology] and Professor Ian Wills [2007 Distinguished Fellow of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society]

Free but donations welcome
